For too long, the noble practice of Gopalan has retreated from Hindu households into institutional Gaushalas — places that, however well-intentioned, can never replicate the bond of a family and their sacred cow. Gurudev's call is a return to roots: not every family needs a Gaushala. What every family needs is one cow — one living sacred presence that teaches children dharma through daily care.
